Dosbox and VitaminF

I can't seem to get VitaminF to work with Yserbius; any attempt to change my name or change spells results in a half-second pause, and then the game continues as before, without any changes. Similarly, I can't change my ephitet or stats.

I can view the "Spell number: " and "Spell Level: " prompts; but no changes are recorded.

I'm using the latest version of Dosbox, and release 4 of VitaminF, if that makes any difference.

Has anyone managed to get these cheats working in Dosbox?
Similarly, has anyone managed to get flying working in Yserbius in Dosbox? For example, in L1: Dungeon Entrance, I've right-clicked just about everywhere on the map name (in the center, in the spaces 'tween the words, on each letter), and then right-clicked on the map space where I want to go... and then left-clicked on a turn arrow, but to no avail: I'm stuck sitting where I was.

Any help? =)

Last I heard flying doesn't work. '

As for DosBox, no idea... Theorticly it should work... There's instructions around here somewhere for running it in Windows DOS wanabe....Which works for VitF and YS.....

I think DosVobox was discussed too around here, might wana try a search for it...

Well, what do you know...

Running in regular windows, VitaminF works like a charm. Mind you, its sans sound, but I could hum the Yserbius theme in my sleep... no big loss. =)

Flying doesn't work? That's a shame, but I'll live. I suppose. =D

NP... There's a sound emulator out there somewhere for it too... Think that too was discussed somewhere in these forums... ;-)
