One down, two… Ok, well, three to go… I since added Harry Potter to the list of movies to see this summer. Anyone want to pay me to go see them? Lemme know! Hehehehe…
Let’s see, Ratatouille. It’s about a rat, who finds his calling in a restaurant. Or, actually a better way to describe it, is he has an over developed sense of smell and thus, a magical ability to make and combine food. That’s about it, it’s pretty simple straight forward plot. The movie itself was enjoyable, and definitely worth taking the kids. Personally though, it lacked something. It just wasn’t as good as Pixar’s last mega animation Cars. I wish I could put a finger on it, but I can’t. Maybe it was the transparent plot? Maybe it was because it was set in France? I don’t know… It was funny and I really can’t say I have any problems with it, just a nagging “Dude, it’s missing something…” feeling.
So, that’s about it. There’s not much to say, other then go see it and judge for your self. It’ll give it Two Katana’s.
