Noooo.. username and password is NOT the same as the forums :)

You need to send Slohand a private message asking for a NEW one for the tavern :)

Hope this helps! If not.. yell and I'll do my best to help ya.

The Tavern is a terrible thing to waste! :p

I'm in RPI currently!

Cept.. you aren't here ;p

I'll leave ICQ up and running for awhile.. if you head back this way.. yell at me on ICQ and I'll pop into the tav.

For some reason I can't let the tavern window just run idle.. it doesn't kick me out.. it just kinda freezes without me knowing and I miss people coming and going :)

Send Slohand a private message asking for a log in and password. He will send you directions with your name/password.

Slohand posted this before, basically it's:
save the file in directory like c:\ys or whatever you wish

from your desktop select the start button then chose run

at the line enter cmd

It should open a command window

move the command window to the directory where your file is saved for example if your cmd window comes up in c:\windows at the prompt you would type cd.. untilt he prompt reads c:\

Then you type in cd ys or whatever you named the directory where you saved your file

at that prompt please enter the following

java -jar YserbiusApp.jar 206.225.93.51 username password

Now what?

Okay, I got in...and created my character, but when I click DONE, it just sits there. I can't use the next/previous buttons and just sit there doing nothing. Is this normal? How long should I wait before deciding that it's stuck?

Okay, it's been a few days and it's still happening.

I use the batch file. It connects, I go to character select and create my character. When finished, I click on DONE and the program sits there for about a minute, then boots me back to the title screen with a "ERROR: Connection lost" message.

Any idea on how to fix this?

Amanda,

To keep track of the errors people are getting, please post the tech questions to http://yserbius.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=513

This'll help us track bugs and help you as much as we can.... Slo's posted the information needed to better understand what may causing the errors. Please look at Slo's first post and fill in the blanks... I've got a few ideas, but need more information that, filling that form out, will help me narrow it down...

Laughter, ya get your username/Password?

Thanks!
