Back in Baltimore for now, We put a offer in on a farm last week and have had a counter offer for which we countered back and feel we are within 3000 dollars of being the proud owners of a 30 acre horse farm in Minnesota. If it becomes a reality, i will post some photos the realtor sent me for you guys to look at.
We spend two days doing the house hunting thing and the rest of the week with the in-laws in Upper Michigan. was a pretty eventful week. Went to a pioneer days event at the fair grounds and help my father in-law run a huge rock crusher to make gravel to go around their Ham Radio building that just built, then took a boat ride with my brother in law to the remains of a very old sawmill where we salvaged a log that had been in the water for over 100 years and still had the cable eyes imbedded in the ends where they lashed them together. it was stamped with old mill markings on each end was 16 foot long and 16 inch diameter. Norway Pine and is worth a good bit of money
we did the math on how long it was under water and counted the rings determined the tree was growing before the declaration of independence was signed.
We did the bar-b-que thing and just relaxed alot Saturday we drove home and here we are.
TO update you on where things are now, we are working on getting a signed offer and are asking for a july 31 closing if possible, the movers will be at the apartment on the august the 13th to pick up the stuff. Stacey and I will follow about the 15th so there will be a few days i will be out of pocket perhaps, Internet at home will suck pretty much, I plan on re-verifying that no DSL is available and if not, i will install a Satelite Internet through HughesNet or WildBlue they are both fairly reasonable now and the equipment has come down in price. It is no good for games but for standard internet use it will be more than sufficient.

Sweet Slo. Good to hear. You are getting close to SD now. The water in the midwest does strange things to a person!! One other option you have with internet is satelitte through direct tv or dish network. For the price wild blue is probably ok. A friend of mine has wildblue and he likes it. I'm in a similar boat and it is fair enough for most games, but not like cable or a really good dsl. I have a wireless connection and I do pretty fair, similar to the satellite thing. Hope things contiue to go well.

What about some watermelon wine, that always goes over big at a barn party. I'll bring me guitar, I can play for a bit.
I do have a copy of YSUO downloaded on one of my computers, about a 500 MB file, plus all the things I have on my computer that were never put in.
If there is an eve that anyone wants to jump on and do some WoWing, let me know and if it works I'll start it up. The server is set up for version 2.0.12. I think I have accts set up for all of us in there, name is log and pass. I'll have to look up the ip again and I can icq it or something. It's my ip so I don't want to post it real bad.
We evacuated one of our camps today, there was a small 1/4 acre fire just at the top of the ridge behind the building. That was fun, moving 48 female juveniles but we go it done. The fire got contained and controlled real quick but we moved them just in case. Back to normal tomorrow, hopefully

oh, Don't know anything about the YS wiki, but the last time I looked at yserbius.org on wikepedia.com, it was not right and had some nasty rumor stuff on it...site closing, etc. There are some free tools to do a wiki. I messed with one, locally once. Not sure how it would work for the "world". You need ruby and instiki (I thinks).

I'm watching pathfinder tonight. I don't remember much hype about it.
Kids are with grandma so I might get to relax a bit. lol
I can convert to pdf using MS word now, works pretty good. The only down side is I can't get my home email at work, saying they frown on that a lot would be an understatement.
I'll have to go to wikapedia.com again, I haven't checked it for quite awhile.
