There are a dozen undead.

Tiger hacks at the creature holding his ankle and manages to sever the wrist. The hand is still attached to Tiger.

Marissa curls up into a ball and starts moaning softly.

OOC: The undead are slow moving, so you have a few seconds before they are on you.

Tiger sticks his borrowed sword through the creature that grabbed him.

He pins it to the mossy ground, but still it flails its arms trying to club Tiger.

<An absolute calm overcomes me as I see the dead begin to move. I turn to face the ring of bodies, close my eyes, letting my hands fall to rest at my sides, tilting my head downwords I begin to murmur soft words in an unknown tongue. I clear my mind, focusing only on channeling the white energies towards the dead in an attempt to turn them from the horrible creatures they have become into what they once were>

There is an almost imperceptable flash of light from Raisa. Those around her have a momentary thought of hearth and home.

Then, nine of the zombies turn and shuffle off. Three remain and press their attack.

<collapsing into a heap random thoughts run through my head, which I utter out loud> "They must be from Buffalo.. with the way they are shuffling."<slips into unconciousness>

Tiger lops the head off a zombie. It still manages to rake its claws accross his chest before repeated blows end its unholy existance.

Jack's hammering with the corssbow crushes another zombie, but he is wounded as well.

The last zombie contiunues to shuffle forward.

OOC: Tiger took 2HP of damage.

Dan scoops up a mace and lays some beatdown on the remaining zombie. He manages to evade its counterattck and brings the creature low.

Marissa returns to the edge of the clearing.

"I'm sorry I went all to pieces. I am no stranger to battle, and have no trouble with orcs, goblins, or even dragons. But I can't stand undead. I don't know why, I always seem to freeze up when facing them."

<runs over to where Raisa collapsed, to see if she ok, heedless of his wounds and the hand still attached to my ankle.>

Raisa, you ok? Come on, we got to get out of here... <Helps to pick Raisa up> Those zombies she turned will be back, lets get out of here...

<pushes away from Tiger trying to look where the bodies had been, standing up on my own very wobbly legs>"They are gone? It actually worked??" <blinks in wonder as Tigers words sink in> "Yeah... lets go. I wouldn't want to try my luck a second time."
