I’m thinking a haunted castle/citadel/church/maze playground using TP’s, false floors, secret doors, invisible moongates (GM placed) and such. Here are some idea’s…
*Maybe put a prize at the end?
*Incorporate the need to use teleport spells.
*Have rooms without an exit so ya have to rune stone out and start again.
*Wandering monsters? Is it possible? Wall around the complex and make the houses public, add a few creatures, would that work?
*Trapped & locked chests.
*Hedge maze or use the existing hedge maze.
*Public rune stones locked down to TP to the different houses. Better yet, invisible moongate type TP’s.
I’m thinking we could have a few complexes’ spread around the world… maybe make it a quest of sorts? This is just an idea… yeah I'm nuts...
Quest: Witch is Lich? (Ya know… which is which?… haha…)
Lord Blackthorn(?) is looking for adventurers to investigate the recent attacks on the city “???”. The ??? town crier thinks the raiding undead are coming from a grave yard outside of town.
Phase 1: Easy
The Grave yard (Similar to the one in Yew) contains weak Skeleton mobs. This is not a house but a GM created area that surrounds the Mausoleum complex.
Mausoleum complex is two homes not necessarily connected. Entering mausoleum1, located on a hill (4th floor), gives access to the hidden catacomb area (floors 1-3). Mausoleum2 contains a “tunnel” (TP) to the Ruined Church catacombs. Have a few roaming mummies and a Spectre (?) “Boss”, that needs to be conquered.

A “Boss” located here informs the adventurers of his attentions. The “Boss” has a rune stone or a map that’ll guide the them to the Castle.
Phase 2: Moderate
Gate House – 2 homes. Each contains a wailing banshee. Adventurers take constant damage until both are destroyed. Maybe as a side quest the adventurers hear about a Swamp Witch who has a item that protects from the wailing.
Haunted Castle should be a 4 house complex. Necro Lich Lord.
