I have been busy staying warm myself here in Minnesota. Waiting on RealmCrafter to get their stuff together on the Pro version so i can get back to world building. Did you get some of the Blizzard this week? Not sure if you are a Gun owner or not, but have you tried to buy ammo lately... OMFG its all gone. cant buy any 9mm or .40 cal to save my life. i have a 44 magnum also still some of that left around, i guess not many people shoot the big guns. New president has everyone running scared and they buying up all the guns and ammo they can get their hands on these days. Pretty funny to me, how a Democrat can be the best firearm sales around lol. sorry venting over not having any bullets. Slo
I got hammered, twice in the last 2 weeks with the snow and some is suppose to be coming in tomorrow evening again. I had several staff that couldn't make it in to work.
I have a ruger 9mm, still have about 100 rounds so I haven't tried to buy any lately. It has to do with a bill/law that supposedly after June 30, all ammo will be tagged and in a db with who bought it and stuff like that. I hope someone gets some sense and stops the crap tho... Tough to take gun ownership out of the bill of rights but you can do limits and stuff on ammo but it doesn't make that much sense. Arm the criminals, create a bigger black market for that stuff, and the law abiding people get farqued in the deal...

If I were a gun person, I would have went shopping... Though, I have to have money too... On the plus side, the Economey has allowed us to buy our own, first house together.. lol Guess I'll have to stick to blades, in the ZOMBIE! invasion or apocolpse ever hits.... Good thing about living out here in the desert, ya already prepared and used to the aird wastelands.... lol
Mangos server is usually pretty good. The major wow releases do take awhile, a month or so, just because of all the big changes. I've got pretty good access to the better db, in my opinion. I had the beta db for wotlk before it was released to the public. Unless it's a big content upgrade, you shouldn't have trouble playing private and retail. I haven't checked in a couple days but I'm guessing mangos supports 3.10 wow now, if blizz released it anyway. I'm behind.

Well of course you are one of the chosen few!! Navic too i hope. No word from Haze. It is my plan possibly that Sidd makes us Sidd, Tiger and Slo at least one GM account to assist others or at a minimum have fun with. I assume those GM accounts come with uber armor and stuff. as for custom stuff you will have to talk to Sidd about bringing it over i am sure that is just a MYSQL statement, but not sure.

I'm good with all the people. Don't know if you can create a forum section just for those people to post stuff in, that might be nice. I'll find the easy "guide" for it and post it in there if it's something you can set up. I believe you can even download wotlk from bliz for free now. If I can't find one, I'll write something up. It isn't tough once you have the game installed to change the realmlist.wtf file.
regarding the armor, mangos has had some sql table changes so you would just want to make sure that they are the current structure for mangos now but it's just an sql statement to add them.

Raisa won't play, so I wouldn't even bother.
I believe I have the latest Mangos, so the SQL should be the same... I've been using a higher number then the current build's SQL DB has in it, to avoid any dupliciate ID's.
Atleast, Slo, with two of us familure with how WoW servers work, you shouldn't have a problem getting one installed and maintianed. Like Sidd Said, It's easy once you get it installed... And really, it's not hard to install either once you have all the necessary files... Thats the hardest parts... But, luckily, Sidd and I are here... ;-)
Might also want to get you a good MySQL manager, other then PHPMyAdmin... The Mangos (Silvermoon) Whichever DB you run, is not handled well by PHPMyAdmin... I have NaviCat, works BEAUTIFULLY. Processes large DB's easily. WAY Easier then PHPMyAdmin.
I can get you a ServerAdmin copy of Navicat if you want it.

I use navicat pro also. The db updates are easy once you understand exactly what you have to add. When a major update occurs it's easier to just use the bat file updater that is on the svn. It's quick and easy, you just have to be careful to manually do the character and realm db updates instead of letting the bat file do it. Piece of cake tho

I'll be leaving in a couple of hours to drive 400+ miles for meetings on a new pc software system and development so I will be in and out the next couple of days. I do have my email set up on my blackberry so I can get messages and may be able to reply to the emails but may not be able to post anything for a few days. Depends on how the nights go.

Well i tried to get the RegPage you had working on the other server and because i have Microsoft IIS on the server it was a pain putting Apache on the server also. So then i moved the script to this linux server and installed it.
I went to the new server and used Navicat to create a new User with remote access to the MYSQL and when i tried REGPAGE it would connect but not create a newuser or even display anything on the administration.php page.
So i poked around and found another script. I installed it,, well first let me say i wanted to kindof seperate yserbius website from wow in case someone screwed with anything so i made a new domain http://yserbiuswow.com I installed the script their made the remote connection and tested it. it is working. Folks can now register themselves and it updates the MYSQL on the database.
Check it out when you have time The website still needs some work on it, I will copy your instructions Sidd on folks getting started. Both you and Tiger will have admin rights as well. Any Admin on the Server will have rights on the website. Not much to configure there but there are forums and such.. i need to locate some clipart here and there that will take a little time.
