How about a Merc Takeover?

So, I miss the brutes. I don't know WHY, but I do. I think they need an injection of FUN and FRIVOLITY. Since all they do when they're not playing a game is hang out in IRC and make plans to play games, I told them they should come here with ME and sit in the chat room and plan to play games. Meanwhile fun people could come in and roleplay with me, and show the grumpy Mercs how to have FUN.

Wadda ya think?

I'm not sure about that. I really did hate listening to guys say how great they were all day long. I was always happier when they were proving it. But I'm demanding.

Unfortunately when you just decide it's all about perception, and you're so busy being untouchable and rude, it's just no fun any more.

Of course that's just encouraging that sort of behavior.

For the most part Logan, BB, Quinn, DreamBabe.... Uhm... And prolly a few more I can't remember.... But for the most part, those were the only ones worth hangin with... I wouldn't really call them teddybears, since BB's about the size of a broom stick... :lol:

Dark Suns Online was a complete waste because the Mercs ruled there... Therm included... And it was a big "I'll kick your ASS." testosterone fest. LOL

And thats not to say I don't miss them... 8)

DreamBabe was KAAOS, as was I. We wouldn't lower ourselves to the Merc level. C'mon :wink:

Why are we 'voteing' on this anyway? I thought everyone was welcomed here? If they want to come.. let them.. let them work up in status like everyone else too.. they shouldn't get mod status off the bat.. hell, they shouldn't be begged to come either. IMHO, of course

I anticipate a spat of penis envy will soon be forthcoming from the men that inhabit this land, after seeing my stirring stick.

Plus I have made it my especial quest to be a pain in the ass to all Mercs ever since Balor decided that I was going to be his perma Dark Mistress of the Night/Sunshine Smile of the Day. In fact, Balor and Thyrm fought a duel once during the heigth of the Balor/Thyrm/Gamesman fall out over who had the latest cheat and who wasn't going to share it. If Balor won, Thyrm would have to tell him how he'd inflated his abilities (maybe that was the Vitamin F birth, I dunno), if Balor lost I would have to leave the server the Mercs were hanging in, which was Challenge Arena, go sit in Sword Swamp and WAIT for Balor to visit like a Merc concubine should.

Balor lost, and indeed I did go back to Sword Swamp, screaming all the way.

I think Thyrm had a duel that required his perma removal, not sure though. Balor says he doesn't know, he wasn't paying attention. *rolls her eyes*

What I do remember about Thyrm was the night that he was supposed to marry Firedancer in a double ceremony with Balor and I. The bastard never showed. Firedancer finally left. THEN he showed up in time to witness the Merc priestesses (damned if I can remember their names now) pronounce us Merc and wife.

And the best loved Thyrm quote in my book is, "Damn, I can't believe Hooties' black!"
